| This thing is heavy but very flexible since it is a linked chain. I can wrap it around my seatpost or carry it on my rear rack. I wish the lock head was covered with a non-scratch material like plastic or rubber. Also be careful when unlocking because the end you insert into the lock is ejected out when the key is turned possibly sending it swinging into your frame, rim, or kneecap (don't ask how I know this). Overall a great product if you need some serious security and don't mind the weight. I have thought about it and realistically don't need this level of protection for the relatively short amount of time my bike sits out in public during the day. Something to think about... |

bought this after days of research. got it today very fast by . super beefy.
an average joe cannot break this. they either gotta be a pro lock cutter but still this thing is heavy. perfect to lock up my motorcycle. also this one had a little warrenty if my bike got stolen which is not much but better then nothing. the lighted key did not work but not important. like other reviews the key does jam and is hard to lock and unlock. maybe need to get use too. not recommened for protable useing. |

| Sucker weighs 10 lbs. and is a weapon. I used black duct take over the lock head so it doesn't nick my bike frame. Comes with a regular master key and five smaller head keys. All fit and have no resistance when turning the lock. But why all these spare keys??? The name Mastiff fits the chain...Good luck getting past it. |

Pros: super strong, the nylon coat protects my bike's paint
Cons: super heavy, the built-in lock jams frequently (leaving me in the rain/cold trying to jiggle my key free)
The lock jams are super annoying...I might look into buying a different version.
Update: key broke in lock the other day...epic fail...DO NOT buy this lock!
UPDATE #2: I called the manufacturer directly and told them about the key fail. They sent me a new unit that working much better. hopefully it keeps working! |

| This chain is advertised on as being 54", but it is really 44". Otherwise, this was a terrific buy. I was using the Onguard Beast 5017 for my moped but it was too thick and scraping the metal inside the tires everytime I used it. This one is just as secure but smaller. I love all the Onguard chains. They are imposing to look at and strong to use. |
