| Got mine from Beach Camera for $22. Start your car, turn on the A/C, then turn on the cushion air. You immediately feel the cooling effect. I get in & out of my car 10 times a day and just leave it on to keep air moving in the car. I have leather seats and instead of a wet spot on my lower back, I have a nice cool spot. Don't expect leather seat comfort with this cushion. You get a cool bottom & back OR hot sticky comfort of your leather seat. A great balance as my vehicle doesn't have a seat ventilator built in. I bought 2 if the 1st one ever quits. |

| The straps snapped the first time my husband sat on it. We'll be returning it. What a bummer. Why do companies even bother marketing crappy products. Surely an issue like this one would have come up during product testing. He's over 6 feet and only weighs about 170 so it's not like he's a huge guy. |

This is another "Me Too" review... but it needs to be repeated... Works good, when it works
Shipped quickly, packaging ok, no shipping damage. Immediately out of the box, the zipper pull literally fell apart in my hand. It is made out of really cheap metal and broke when I touched it. I placed the Seat Cushion on my seat and put the straps behind the seat to secure it; both elastic straps came loose from their plastic connectors, and became useless to attach it to the seat correctly. The potentiometer (Variable fan speed control) will only work on approximately 2/3 full speed. Any attempt to move it past that point turns off the fan motor.
That being said.....
I have used new elastic and metal fasteners to secure the seat.
I have used metal clips to close the zipper opening, because they were easy, cheap and can be removed quickly if necessary.
I will eventually replace the potentiometer and restore the fan speed control.
The overall seat construction, and air flow, are good, and work well to cool not only the leg / seat area, but moves air sufficiently that it cools your back well too. The fan seems to be working well for now, and if I get just the rest of this HOT summer's use out of it, I will feel it well worth the inexpensive price. I would suggest that Wagan put just a "little" more money into production costs and they could raise their selling point and have a much better product. Now that I know that these devices actually work, I will spend more money on my next purchase and get a better quality Air Circulating Seat Cushion. |

I bought one of these a couple of months or so ago to replace a different seat cooler I bought at Sears (avoid that one) and all I can say is WOW. I live in central Texas (Austin area) and it gets pretty hot in this part of the state. We're talking sticky 100s in the summer.
This cooler is a god-send. Most of the time I can't tell if I've been sweating of if my back and pants are just cold from it. It's from being cold.
The fan placement is perfect and doesn't get in your way. It has more than enough power to cool not only your rump, but your back as well.
Admittedly, this is the 2nd one I've had. I got one as a gift a couple of years ago and it was busted. Given that, I was hesitant to buy another one but as inexpensive as this is (compare $20-ish vs $60-ish for others) I couldn't pass it up.
It was well worth the risk.
