| Before you order, see if the lens will work on your vehicle by holding a yardstick at 30 degrees below horizontal with the high end touching the rear windshield near the bottom outside the car. If any other part of the yardstick touches something, you either need to mount the bottom of the lens higher or it is not suitable for your vehicle.
Buy a wallpaper seam roller to use to roll the air bubbles from between the lens and glass during installation. You will be able to mount the lens precisely where you want it that way. Otherwise the lens will move as you try to wipe away the bubbles. You have plenty of time to try different locations, so be sure you like the results before you leave the lens to dry.
If your windshield has excessive tilt, a sort of "tunnel view" results in the bottom half of the lens. In that case you may prefer to use the lens upside down, as a more acceptable view results.
If you don't need the view above the lens center, you can cut the lens in half and discard the unused half or use it elsewhere.

| | This is the third lens I have purchased, not for my car, but for my house. I put one on my kitchen window to keep an eye on my terriers. There are corners of the yard I can not see looking out the window, but this lens allows me to see a larger area of the yard, and better monitor the dogs. I wish I had thought of this when the kids were small. I also have one on the living room window so I can now see the stairs to the front door. Without the lens I could only hear footsteps on the stairs. With the lens, I can now see who belongs to the footsteps. There are times when the sunlight blocks viewing, but most of the time it works great to add visibility where needed |

| | I have a sports car with a pretty low roof line, so whenever I'm the first car at the traffic light, it's hard for me to see the traffic light unless I crouch forward and bend my neck back into a awkward position. There's a product called "Light in Sight" that's specifically designed to alleviate the problem, but it's $17.50/unit. Instead, I bought the CIPA 60200 Wide Angle Lens, cut it in half (across the middle where the center of the "rings" is), and it works just as well. And the fact that I got two lenses out of it just made it all that much better. |

| This wide angle lens was easy to install and works great. I'm amazed at how well I can see.
It is essential to clean the glass well before install this lens. If the glass is clean and you've wetted the lens before installation as per instructions, it's very easy to move the lens around until you've found the perfect position. The lens doesn't have a sticky backing like I expected. If you don't use water, you won't be able to slide the lens around or remove the bubbles.
The lens isn't perfect at night, but you can see headlights of other cars very well. |

| This works GREAT! They attach easily and give a nice, wide-angle view. When positioned correctly, it can give a great view downward and assists with parking immensely.
I have a beeping infrared backup sensor as well, but this works better and I have more confidence in the visual feedback than the beeping from the sensor.
It came off once after about 3 years, but it easily reattaches.
The only problem with this is that it will block a clear view of the rear whereever you place it, so don't place it in the middle of your rear window. Place it toward a corner, like the top passenger side of the rear window. |
